Elaine Keehn, age 84, of Lake Zumbro, died Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at her home. Elaine left her earthly home on May 10th, 2016 and is now happily reunited with her mother Esther, husband Bobby, her son-in-law Kevin, her daughter in-law Cheryl, and her Savior our Lord Jesus Christ in her eternal heavenly home.
A visitation for Elaine Keehn will be at 1:00 pm, followed by a 2:00 pm service Monday May 16th at Peace United Church of Christ (1503 2nd Avenue NE) with Rev. Paul D. Bauch officiating.
Born February 16th 1932 in Glendale, California. She graduated from Rochester High School. Elaine married Robert Owen Keehn on June 30, 1951 and the couple moved to Lake Zumbro in 1978.
Elaine is survived by her six children Scott (Susan) Keehn, Holly Sleeper, Paul Keehn, Stacy (Brian) Veloske, Priscilla (Stephen) Peterson, Tim (Kathy) Keehn, ten grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Elaine was a life-long member of Peace United Church of Christ. She loved God, adored her family and friends, and cherished her home on the lake. She especially enjoyed long pontoon rides, gardening, and playing a wicked game of 31 "breast your cards!"
Elaine's faith in God was profound. She taught us all to go to Him in prayer daily. She often reminded us to pray with the innocence of a child and believe in God's word 100%.
