Edward Jesse Harding, 77, of Bay City, died Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Mayo Clinic - Methodist Campus in Rochester. He was born on November 24, 1946, in Red Wing to Donavon and Stella (Sundberg) Harding. He attended schools in Bay City and graduated in 1964 from Ellsworth High School. He then served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. On September 9, 1967, he was united in marriage to Margaret "Peggy" Jeske at the Church of St. Joseph in Red Wing. They resided in Bay City and he worked many years for Red Wing Service Company. Jesse enjoyed the outdoors, spending time on his hobby farm, hunting, fishing and all his pets. His big passion was going to the cabin with Peggy and his family in the U.P. of Michigan.

Jesse is survived by his two children, Alisa (Michael) Earp of Goodhue and Dustin (Sara) Harding of Bay City; five grandchildren, Robby (Ashley), Cassie, Jessica (Ryan), Nicholas and Taylor; three great grandchildren, Sylas, Ivy and Marley; one sister, Alice (Mike) Celt of Bay City and Neal (Karen) Harding of Mesa, Arizona along with nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy, on September 8, 2010; his parents and two brothers, Tony and Quinton.

A burial will be at a later date at the Bay City Cemetery in Bay City. Arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing.
