Edmund William Horst

Edmund William Horst, 72, of Red Wing, died Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at his home, surrounded by his family.  He was born on May 14, 1951, in Red Wing to Edmund and Eleanor (Brekke) Horst.  He attended schools in Red Wing and worked various jobs over the years.  On December 12, 1970, he was married to Nancy Groth.  He enjoyed working on cars and hot rods along with going to drag races.

Edmund is survived by his wife, Nancy, three sons, Lance (Sara) Horst, Chad (Katie) Horst and Travis (Taylor) Horst; six grandchildren, Brekah Sura, Ella and Damien Horst, Austin Jones and Colton and Owen Horst.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Connie Horst and Kathy Rossi.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
