Earl Nicholas Boser, 82, of Red Wing, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at St. Brigid's at Hi-Park. He was born on November 14, 1928 to Nicholas and Emma (Lindahl) Boser. He graduated in 1947 from Red Wing Central High School. He served in the US Army from 1951-1952 during the Korean Conflict. Following his discharge he attended Mankato State Teachers College graduating in 1947. Over the years he taught at Starbuck, Goodhue and Northfield Schools. He was married to Ruth Hawke and they later divorced. He then married Lyn Johnson and they later divorced. He married June Oschwold and they lived in Northfield and Cannon Falls, moving to Red Wing in 2002. She died on October 2, 2002.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Jannatpour of Andover, Minn. and Jennifer Reeves of Apache Junction, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Alexander and Ashley; one brother, Wally (Evelyn) Boser of Richfield and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife June.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Dar Reeck officiating. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service.
