Dorothy E. Miller

Dorothy Elaine Miller, 86, of Red Wing died Sunday, November 27, 2011 at the Fairview Seminary Home. She was born March 25, 1925 in Kilkenny Township, Minnesota to Burt and Anna (Rietz) Miller. She grew up on the family farm in rural Kilkenny. At age seventeen she moved to Faribault, where she resided for thirty years. She moved to Red Wing in 1972 and since 2008 she has resided at the Fairview Seminary Home. For 28 years she was employed with PROACT. She was a faithful member of the Church of St. Joseph.

She is survived by nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, John Miller and one sister, Marion Brothole.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, December 1, 2011 Fairview Seminary Home Chapel with Chaplain Cheryl Szabo officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
