Doris E. Wilson age 84 of Lake City passed away Friday, October 29, 2010 at the Lake City Nursing Home.
Doris was born September 10, 1926 in Eyota Township in Olmsted County to Edwin & Alfrieda (Kisro) Schmidt. She grew up in the Eyota area and graduated from Eyota High School in 1944. Doris married David Myers November 12, 1946, they later divorced. She then married Thomas Wilson December 18, 1954. Tom passed away in 1991. Tom and Doris moved around the country with Tomâ?TMs job as a construction supervisor with the FAA.
Doris is survived by a son, Gary (Georgia) Myers of Lake City; two grandsons, Paul (Marissa) Myers of Zumbrota, David (Katie) Myers of Rochester; two great grandsons, Chase and Spencer; a sister, Carol Murray of Grants Pass, OR. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and a sister.
