A memorial service for Donna Mallan will be held Saturday November 16th at 10:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rochester. The Reverend Joel Haak will officiate. Burial, at a later date, will occur at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester. Mrs. Mallan, 63, of Rochester, died Monday November 11, 2013 at Seasons Hospice near Rochester.
Donna Mae Laskowske was born October 26, 1950 in Hammond, Minnesota, the daughter of Edward and Lillian Laskowske. She was baptized at Hammond Lutheran Church. She grew up in Hammond, and was graduated from John Marshall High School in Rochester. She married Robert Mallan on July 31, 1971 at Potsdam, Minnesota. She worked for Dominium Apartments, and recently had been employed at T.J. Maxx.
A member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Donna loved her church, grandchildren, camping, bike riding, baking, reading, walking her dog, and being with her friends.
She is survived by her husband, Robert ‘Bob' Mallan; two sons, Jason (Janet) Mallan and Stephen Mallan; two grandchildren, Kayla Reeve and Amelia Mallan, all of Rochester; three sisters, Lavonne (Melvin) Domke of Hammond, Judy Langehaug, and Joanne Laskowske, both of Rochester. Also surviving is Donna's much beloved dog, Lady. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by a sister, Edna Laskowske.
