Donna M Holst

Donna M Holst, 95, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021, at The Bluffs in Lake City.

Donna was born on September 16, 1926 in Glaskow TWP in Wabasha County, MN to Edward& Elsie (Schumacher) Rutz.  Donna married Harry Holst August 28, 1946 at the St. John’s parsonage in Lake City. She worked in the food service area at Lincoln High School in Lake City for many years. Harry passed away in 1987. She then married Milford “Pete” Klindworth May 5, 1990 in Bear Valley at St. John’s Lutheran Church. They lived in Lake City.  Donna was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lake City. Pete passed away in April of this year.

Donna is survived by her son, Richard (Kathy) Holst of Lake City;  sister, Eva Gnotke of Lake City.

She is preceded in death by her parents, spouses, brother, Edward “Jerry” Rutz and a step daughter Linda Soifakis.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at St. John’s Cemetery in Lake City. Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson – Peterson Chapel Lake City.
