Donald Deden, 77, of Frontenac, died Monday, January 25, 2010 at the Fairview Seminary Home. He was born on March 21, 1932 in Hay Creek Township to Victor and Ethel (Thuman) Deden. He attended school in Wells Creek and Red Wing. He farmed with his dad, worked at SB Foot Tannery and Red Wing Sewer Pipe. He married Arlene Watson and they later divorced. Don loved horses and making saddles. He enjoyed singing and playing guitar and country music.
Survivors include two children, Clint (Tina) Bleything of South Charleston, Ohio and Anita (Brent) Scheiderer of Urbana, Ohio; 5 grandchildren; one sister, Beryl (Donald) Anderson of Stockholm, Wis.; two brothers, Victor Deden of Apache Junction, Ariz. and Jeffrey Deden of St. Paul and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gerald and Gene Deden.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, January 29, 2010 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home with Rev. Lynne Rigg officiating. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery in Hay Creek. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred
