Diane C Peterson

Diane C. Peterson, 77, of Red Wing, died Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at The Terrace in Cannon Falls. She was born August 24, 1944 to James and Mildred (Nadeau) Anway in Red Wing. She graduated from Red Wing Central High School and went on to earn an associates degree as an Administrative Assistant. She married Blake Peterson on June 26, 1963 and the couple owned and operated Peterson Shoe and Repair in Ellsworth. She also worked for nearly 15 years at Video Trading in Red Wing.

Diane enjoyed sewing and in her younger years she sewed dolls to be sent to charities in Africa. Following a stroke that left her disabled, she moved to the Terrace in Cannon Falls.

She is survived by her two sons; Jim Peterson of Red Wing and Don Peterson of Red Wing, as well as 3 grandchildren; Nathan, Brett, and Samantha.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Blake and her parents.
