Diane Lynn Gevers, 58, of Rochester, died Wednesday January 29, 2014 at Saint Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
Diane Lynn LaPointe was born November 13, 1955 in Amarillo, Texas, the daughter of Rudolph and Dorothy LaPointe. Born into a military family, she moved about the country while growing up. She married Donald "Donnie" Gevers on May 9, 1991 in Rochester. She enjoyed her work with the public in various aspects of employment over the years.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Gevers, Jr. of Rochester; her mother, Dorothy LaPointe, MI; her daughter, Christine Spica, FL; two brothers, David (Terry) LaPointe, MI, and Roger LaPointe, NV; and a sister, Sandy (Don) Heck, MI. Diane also leaves many beloved in-laws and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rudy LaPointe.
