Diana Lynn Golden, 44, of Duluth, Minn. formerly of Red Wing, died Tuesday, August 18th, 2020 due to a heart condition. Diana was born April 22, 1976 in Red Wing to Rory and Victoria (Beckman) Golden. After attending Red Wing Central High School, she pursued her passion of working for Lutheran Social Services, while working in several group homes around the Red Wing area. She went on to live in Duluth and visited her family in the Red Wing area often. Diana loved spending time with her family and she especially enjoyed when the whole family could get together. One of the things Diana was looking forward to was seeing the weddings of both a niece and a nephew in this upcoming year.
She is survived by her mother, Victoria Golden of Lake City; sister, Melissa (Mark) Boyum of Red Wing; nieces and nephews, Tucker (Anna Waldera) Wiech, Taylor (Megan) Wiech, Tiffany Wiech, Sierra Boyum and Sydney (Matthew Lindblad) Boyum; great-niece and nephew, Micah and Eleanor Wiech; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father, Rory Golden; sister, Jennifer Golden; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel. Masks are required along with social distancing. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com
