Dena M. Ruegg (Hoseth) 95, of Pathstone Living in Mankato, MN and formerly of Rochester, MN, retired homemaker, died on October 23, 2008.
She was born June 12, 1913, in Minneola Township, Minnesota to Martin and Julianna (Froyum) Hoseth. She married Russell Ruegg on November 16, 1940, at Lands Lutheran Church near Zumbrota. The couple made their home in Rochester where she was a member of Zumbro Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her sister: Mable (Warren) Delva of Rochester, three daughters: Dr. Sandra Chesborough of St. Cloud, Barbara (Scott) Thiem of North Mankato, and Susan Trushenski-Murray and fiancé Richard Spielberger of Maple Grove; son, Steven (Robin) Ruegg of Eagan; six grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell and brothers, George and Victor Hoseth.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Lands Lutheran Church, 16640 Hwy 60 Blvd, Zumbrota, MN with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Pine Island Cemetery at 1:15 p.m. Memorials are preferred to Pathstone Living on Sibley, Mankato, MN or Alzheimer's Research at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. Mahn Family Funeral Home, Larson Chapel is handling the arrangements.
