Delton "Del" Laudon, age 66, of Rochester, died June 17, 2014 at his home.
Del was born June 7, 1948 in Rochester to Donald and Eileen (Anderson) Laudon. He was raised in Dover, MN and graduated from Dover-Eyota High School in 1966. He then attended the Minnesota School of Business, where he studied accounting, for two years. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1973, during the Viet Nam war. Following his discharge he moved to Rochester where he was employed at Pace Dairy from 1980 to the present. On September 6, 1980 he married Charlene Evans; they were later divorced. Del enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, coaching his son's softball team, and spending time with his many friends. He was a member of Evangel United Methodist Church. Del will be remembered for his generous heart and contagious smile.
Survivors include two sons, Ryan (Katie) of Savannah, GA; and Nick of Rochester; granddaughters, Ava, and Claire, of Savannah; his mother, Eileen Laudon of Lake City, MN; and his sister Karen (Alan) Siegman of Excelsior, MN. His father preceded him in death.
