Deloris M. Roth, age 76, died Sunday August 5, 2007, at Fairview Seminary Home. She was born on May 11, 1931, in Red Wing to Luke and Anna (Westerberg) Nash. She attended school in Red Wing. She married Marvin Roth in 1949 in Cresco, IA. They lived in Red Wing where she worked at Red Wing Shoe Plant 2 for 20 years until retiring in 1993. A member of the Church of St. Joseph, she enjoyed embroidery work, camping, and reading.
Survivors include son, Jerry (Jody) Roth of Red Wing; four brothers, Larry Nash of the Twin Cities, Jim (Kay) Nash of Red Wing, Dale (Dar)Nash of Red Wing, Mike (Mary) Nash of Red Wing; two sisters, Mae Johnson of Red Wing and Linda (Dick) Brunkhorst of Red Wing. Preceded by husband; two children, Terry and Patricia; siblings, Lila Plote, Ardis Swisher, Leonard Nash, Luke Nash, Janet Nash and Gloria Townsend.
Mass of the Resurrection will be 11 A.M. Thursday at the Church of St. Joseph, with Father Thomas M. Kommers presiding. Burial will be at Burnside Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 -7 P.M. at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and one hour before the service at the church. Memorials are preferred to the Kidney Foundation.
