Delores Borrowes

Delores Borrowes went to join her heavenly father and her loving family on December 18, 2012. Delores was born March 25, 1927 in Highland township, MN to Elmer and Leona (Taushaus) Funke. Her parents moved to Boyceville, Wisconsin when Delores was young. She graduated from the Boyceville High School in 1944. That same year, Delores married Charles Rossiter. They made their home in Colfax, Wisconsin, where she was a beautician. They later divorced. Delores married Willis Herger at the Little Brown Church in Iowa August of 1950. They made their home in St. Paul, Minnesota. Later they moved to Sun Lakes, Arizona. Willis passed away in 1975. Delores married Stephen Borrowes in 1978. They continued living at Sun Lakes, where he passed away in 1986. Delores continued living in Arizona until her death.

Delores leaves behind one son, Richard (Gail) Rossiter (St. Paul, MN); two grandsons, Charles Rossiter (Northfield, MN), Robert Rossiter (St. Paul, MN); one great-granddaughter.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, August 9, 2014 at St. Mary's of the Lake Cemetery in Lake City.

Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City is assisting with the arrangements.
