Della Bremer

Della E. Bremer, age 93, of Zumbro Falls, died Friday, February 23, 2007 at her home. Della Elsie Drehmel was born November 17, 1913 in Lake City to Emil C. & Clara (Horning) Drehmel. Della was baptized and confirmed at St. John?s Lutheran Church in Lake City. She married Ray Bremer September 25, 1934 at St. John?s Lutheran in Lake City. They farmed in the Lake City area for 10 years, and in 1944 they moved to Chester Township, Wabasha County where they continued farming. Ray died December 26, 1987. Della continued living on the family farm. She was a member of Bear Valley Lutheran Church. She is survived by one son, Emery (Louise) Bremer of Rochester; one grandson, Arlan (Heidi) Spratte of Zumbrota; two great grandsons, Samuel and Sully Spratte and one great granddaughter, Sabrina Spratte. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Arlene Drehmel, Mildred Hink; and one infant brother. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Bear Valley Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Alan Horn officiating. Burial will be at St. John?s Cemetery in Lake City. Casketbearers will be Michael and Gary Wiebusch, David Windhorst, Glenn Kohrs, Ted Pew and Darvin Ische. Honorary Bearers will be Gene and Jerry Anding, Duane Windhorst and Jon Wiech. A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Tuesday at -Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel in Lake City. Friends may also call one hour before the service at the church. Memorials are suggested to Cancer Research at the Mayo Clinic.
