Deborah Barth

Deborah Kaye Barth, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, age 70, of Red Wing, died Saturday, November 9, 2024, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. She was born on December 30, 1953, in Rochester, MN to David and Anne (Lake) Vonch. She graduated from Red Wing Central High School and went on to receive her LPN at Red Wing Technical College. Throughout her career, she worked within multiple medical settings where she provided outstanding, compassionate care to her patients.

Deborah married Christopher Barth and for the past 13 years they have shared many special memories together. She enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and spending time with her loved ones. Deb was fond of car rides around Lake Pepin and was an excellent cook. Her Swedish meatballs were a highlight at every holiday celebration. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and her smile would light up the room.

Deborah is survived by her loving husband, Christopher; sons, Jameson Melbye, Matthew Barth and Thomas (Marisol) Barth; two grandchildren, Norah and Aurora; two siblings, David L. (Sherri) Vonch and Michelle (Scott) Gruebele; sister-in-law, Karen Vonch and nieces and nephews, Joshua, Andrew, Janae, Katelyn, Ashley, Elizabeth and Constance Vonch; great nieces and nephews, Sadie, Natyrii, Jerome and Jasper. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dan Vonch.

A service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
