Dawn Marie Anderson, 37, of New Richmond, Wisconsin, died Tuesday, September 27, 2011, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born to Daniel and Judy (Schultz) Anderson on December 8, 1973 in Red Wing, MN. She attended Ellsworth Schools and graduated with honors from Chippewa Valley Technical College in 2008, receiving an Associate's Degree in AODA. She currently was employed at Burkwood Treatment Center in Burkhardt, Wisconsin as a Chemical and Alcohol Dependency Counselor. She also was enrolled at UW Stout in Menomonie, working on her Bachelor's Degree in social work. She enjoyed working out, running and had recently been participating in 5K races. She also enjoyed playing softball and watching the Packers. She was a very positive person and was very devoted to her daughter, Chloe.
She is survived by three children, Danielle, Noah, and Chloe; parents, Daniel and Judy Anderson of Turtle Lake, WI; sister, Sherry Schilling of Hager City; brother Chris (Jolene) Anderson of Bay City, WI; maternal grandmother, Laurinda Schultz of Red Wing, MN; nieces and nephews, Michael and Megan Schilling and Peyton and Corey Anderson; two aunts, Jeanette Bubbers of Lake City, MN and Jerralynn (Dan) Peterson of Beldenville, WI and uncle Brian (Tammy) Anderson of Bay City.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Breanna; paternal grandparents, Eugene and Jacqueline Anderson; maternal grandfather, Reynold Schultz; and one uncle, Craig Anderson.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2011 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Kristen Schlauderaff officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
