David A. Seymour

David Alan Seymour, 77, of Red Wing died on Monday, August 21, 2017 at The St. Crispin Living Community - Hi-Park Villa. He was born January 11, 1940 in Red Wing to Carl and Elvira (Johnson) Seymour. He graduated from Red Wing High School in 1958. Following high school he served in the National Guard for a short time. He went on to work for the Milwaukee Railroad where he worked for 40 years until his retirement in 2000. David was an actively involved in his condominium association and served as their president. For the past two years he has resided at the Villa. He found great enjoyment in driving and had a fantastic sense of humor.

David is survived by one brother, Dan (Marlene) Seymour of Red Wing; one sister, Mary Lou Greske of River Falls, WI; special friends, Lynn Egan of Hastings and Penny Craig of Burnsville; brother in law Don Sticka of Faribault and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tom and Carl; and one sister, Jean Sticka.

Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 1, 2017 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Reverend Debbie Bradley officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred to Mayo Hospice or donor's choice.
