OBITUARY: David C. Mosher
David Curtis Mosher, age 75, of Pine Island died on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. He was born on May 5, 1932 in Milton Township, Dodge County, Minnesota to Aaron and Mildred (Norton) Mosher. He attended Harkum Country School and graduated from Pine Island High School. David farmed most of his life around the area and was married to Betty Kruse in 1952. They later divorced. He continued farming and also worked for IBM in Rochester thirteen years. In 1969, he married Kathleen Humpal. She died on September 12, 1993. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, card playing and dancing.
David is survived by three daughters: Romelle (Bill) Friary, of Pine Island, MN, Rhonda (Gary) Kern, of Ham Lake, MN, Rayna (Dan) Lechelt, of Chanhassen, MN; six grandchildren: Katrine Friary, Mike Friary, Wanda Harkins, Joey Lechelt, Kayla Lechelt and Christopher Lechelt; two great grandchildren: Cailin Friary and Andrew Friary; one sister, Marilyn (Gary) Collins, of Pine Island, MN; his first wife, Betty Kruse, of Pine Island, MN; his special friend, Shirley Terry, of Rochester, MN. His parents and second wife preceded him in death.
