David Michael Carroll

David Michael Carroll,age 73, of Red Wing, passed away on February 8, 2025, at his home. He was born on December 30, 1951, in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he also graduated from Johnson High School. After high school, David served his country honorably in the United States Air Force.  In 1986 he married Iris Lickness and they made their home in Red Wing. David dedicated a significant portion of his professional life to Federal Mogul in Lake City.  In his younger years he enjoyed playing broomball and he was fond of his tv shows.  He is survived by his wife, Iris; his children, Elizabeth (Michael) See and Kenneth Carroll; his step-son, Michael (Sarah) Holmes; six grandchildren; and his sister, Debby Freiermuth and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter-in-law, Tina Krueger.  A celebration of David's life will be held at a later date in the spring or summer.
