David G. Bradshaw, age 70, of Pine Island died on Thursday, March 25 2010 at Olmsted Medical Center Hospital in Rochester.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 AM on Saturday March 27, 2010 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home - Mahler Chapel in Pine Island. A visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday March 26 at the funeral home.
David Gordon Bradshaw was born on August 11, 1939 in Dodge County to Ralph and Florence (Karrow) Bradshaw. He attended country school in Dodge County. On May 16, 1958 David and Alyce Rauenhorst were married in rural Mazeppa. The couple later divorced in 1987. Throughout the years David held various positions in the Pine Island area. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing, and squirrel hunting.
David is survived by his mother, Florence Hickey of West Concord; his four children, Denise (Neal) Weis and Dawn (James) Rew, both of Pine Island, Dan (Susan) Bradshaw of Waseca, and Debra (Brian) Shanks of Truman; nine grandchildren, Ann (Jesse) Frericks, Bradley Weis, Katie (Jamie) Rideoutt, Ashley and Amber Rew, Ashley Avery, Joseph Bradshaw, and Anthony and Brady Shanks; five great grandchildren, Jackson and Autumn Frericks, Braeden and Briley Rideoutt, and Nikkole Collins; one sister, Janice (Russell) Bennerotte of Wasioja; one brother, Dallas (Rosemary) Bradshaw of rural Pine Island; special friend, Linda Hanson; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph; step-mother, Loretta Bradshaw; and step father, Tracey Hickey.
