OBITUARY NOTICE
DARLEEN D. SCHOMMER-PETERSON
Darleen Delores Peterson, 80, Eagan, died Wednesday at Keystone Assisted Living in Eagan. She was born February 1, 1927 in Red Wing, the daughter of George and Irma (Turner) Schommer. She graduated from Red Wing Central High School and worked at Red Wing Pottery. She moved to the Twin Cities in 1950 and worked at various jobs. She retired from Ramsey County OIC as a counselor in 1992. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include two children: Cindy (James) Stoll of South Saint Paul and John (Amy) Peterson of Arden Hills; six grandchildren: Matthew & Sarah Stoll, Elli, Alex, Abby & Lily Peterson; one cousin, Red Reinhart.
Memorial service will be Monday 11 A.M. at Christ Episcopal Church with Father Charles Uhlik officiating. Burial will be in Burnside Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers are Matthew & Sarah Stoll, Elli, Alex, Abby, and Lily Peterson. Visitation will be Sunday 2-4 p.m. with a vigil service at 4 p.m. at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and one hour prior to the service at the Church.
