BYRON ? The funeral for Darin Timothy McPhee will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mahn Family Funeral Home ? Rochester Chapel with Pastor Raymond Tuck of the International Word Fellowship Church officiating. Burial will be in Byron Cemetery. Mr. McPhee, 27, of Byron, died Wednesday (Nov. 22, 2006) as a result of a motor vehicle accident near Byron. Born Sept. 26, 1979 in Rochester, Darin was raised in Byron, and graduated from Byron High School in 1998. He was a member of the Soccer and Wrestling Team and participated in the State Wrestling Tournament in 1998. He previously worked for Action Plumbing and Heating and Brooks Masonry. He was employed with Air Tech Mechanical and was a Bartender at the Byron American Legion at the time of his death. On Oct. 8, 2004 he married Angela Burdick in Rochester, she survives. He was a 2nd. Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and enjoyed Motocross racing, music, and biking. Survivors include his wife Angela and daughter Star McPhee of Rochester; his parents Tim and Linda of Byron; his maternal grandparents Roy and Arlene Fuchs of Byron; his paternal grandfather William (Nancy) McPhee of Phoenix, AZ; his paternal grandmother Bernadette McPhee of Rochester; and two brothers Benjamin (Kimberly) of Madison, WI; and Nathan (April) of St. Paul. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday and one hour before the service Saturday at the Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor?s choice.
