ELGIN, MINNESOTA
Funeral services for Dale Stahl will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Elgin. The Reverend Terrill Branstedt will officiate. Burial will follow at the Elgin Cemetery. Mr. Stahl, 67, of Elgin, died Saturday April 11, 2009 as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Haverhill Township, Olmsted County.
Dale Harry Stahl was born August 2, 1941 in Plainview. A farmer, Mr. Stahl grew up in the Elgin area and attended Elgin Country School. He married Jo Ann Holter on August 16, 1980. He was a member of the Minnesota National Guard, and was a recipient of the Century Farm Award.
He is survived by three children, Brenda (Mike) Goldman of Arden Hills, Minnesota, Brian (Ann) Klindworth of Elgin, and Brochelle Brennan of Red Wing; nine grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Michael, Bobby, Hunter, Micah, Megan, William, and Benjamin; a brother, Larry (Jane) Stahl of Pepin, Wisconsin, and a sister, Arlene (Richard) Schuchard of Rochester; along with loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Marvin and Ardell; and a sister, Virginia Schultz.
Friends may call Thursday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church and the visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Mahn Family Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
