Dale Gordon Benbrooks

Dale G. Benbrooks, age 78 of Zumbrota, formerly of Faribault died on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the Zumbrota Health Services. A memorial gathering will be on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Mahn Family Funeral Home - Larson Chapel in Zumbrota. Private family entombment will be at the Meadow Ridge Cemetery in Faribault.
Dale Gordon Benbrooks was born on March 10. 1942 in Joliet, IL to Orin and May (Foss) Benbrooks. He grew up in Tigerton, WI and graduated from Tigerton High School in 1961. Dale started working for Western Electric Co. Dale later worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Co as an electrician. On July 16, 1967 he married Linda M. Davidson. Dale and Linda purchased a restaurant in Bay City, WI. While helping at the restaurant, Dale also worked in a lumber mill and as a Deputy for the Pierce County Sherriff's Office. He moved his family to Faribault and he worked for Crown Cork and Seal. Dale retired in 2004 and moved to Morristown. Dale was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved to fish and hunt.
Dale is survived by his son, Joel (Katie) Benbrooks of Wanamingo; his daughter, Erin (Travis Toots) Benbrooks of New Richland; grandchildren, Patton, Douglas, Denay, Piper and Oakley; siblings, Charles (Betty) Benbrooks, Ray Benbrooks, Robert (Yolanda) Benbrooks, Bonnie Kucksdors and Carol Nabbefeld along with many nieces and nephews.
Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; parents, Orin and May; son, Gregory; siblings, Don, Bill, Helen, Richard, Larry and twins, William and Michael.
Memorials are preferred to the family.
