Cynthia Diane Kohner, 59, of Lake City and formerly of Red Wing, died Sunday, March 6, 2016, at the River Oaks Health Care Center in Lake City. Cynthia was born November 5, 1956, in Winona, to Elmer and Arlene (Hanson) Kohner. She graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1975 and moved to Red Wing. She had her own daycare for a time and also worked various places including the hospital, the Seminary Home and ProAct. In 2014, she moved to Lake City where she has since resided. Cynthia enjoyed crafts, scrapbooking and going for walks by Lake Pepin. She adored children and also her dog, Mandy.
She is survived by 3 brothers, Steve (Gwen) Kohner of Red Wing, Jim (Bev) Kohner of Winona and Dave (Beth) Kohner of Pine Island and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Arlene and 2 sisters, Peggy and Barbara Kohner.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 10, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Reverend Arte Sharot officiating. Burial was held at Burnside Cemetery.
