Cynthia Lucille Curtis

Cynthia Lucille Curtis, age 66, of Red Wing, died Saturday, March 12, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. She was born on January 29, 1950 in Red Wing to Leo and Ruth (Wahlstrom) Cedar. She grew up in Red Wing and graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1968. She married Richard Curtis in 1969. Cindy worked for several years at Red Wing Shoe. She then worked at St. John's Hospital for seventeen years, and from there worked several other jobs. Cindy enjoyed flowers, gardening, playing bingo, and watching fireworks.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Curtis of Red Wing; son, Christopher of Red Wing; grandchildren, Carson and Jayvon; siblings, Steve Cedar of Red Wing, Larry Cedar of Frontenac, Vicki (Tony) Berg of Red Wing, Sally Cedar of Red Wing, Juli (Harlan) Northey of Red Wing, Mike Cedar of Hastings, Jerry Cedar of Frontenac; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Ruth Cedar; and sister, Peggy Cedar.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2016 with Deacon Pat Evans officiating at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
