- Houg, Connie, age 67, lost her battle with cancer on December 6, 2024 with
- her loving family by her side in Rochester, MN. Beloved daughter, mother,
- sister, aunt, great aunt and friend to many. She will be remembered as a
- protective, loving, generous and classy lady. She will be greatly missed.
- Connie was born on June 5, 1957, the first born child of Myron & Shirley
- Houg. The family welcomed 3 more siblings and they lived on a dairy farm
- north of Albert Lea, MN. Connie moved to the Twin Cities where she lived
- for many years working in retail, including Sears and Daytons where she
- developed her sense of fashion. She worked hard as a single mother and
- loved being a Mom to her son. She also worked at US Bank and JoAnn
- Fabrics which encouraged her crafting and sewing projects. She enjoyed
- reading and watching movies too, especially with her grandson, Hunter.
- She lived in Rochester for many years until her death.
- She is survived by her mother Shirley Houg, son Jeremie Houg, (Kari), grandsons
- Hunter & Xavier, sisters Sally Houg, Judy Johns (Paul), brother Johnny
- Houg (Kristin), nieces & nephews Carissa Massaro, Alexander Massaro
- (Kathryn), Jessica Freeman (Dan), Anthony Johns (Alyssa), Bethany
- Ziolkowski (Brian), Kristina Johns, John, Molly, Maverick and Elizabeth
- Houg andseven great nieces and nephews and many cousins, too.
- She was preceded in death by her father, Myron Houg and many special
- aunts, uncles and cousins.
- A Celebration of Connie's Life will be held on Saturday, January 25 at 1:30 pm
- at: River of Glory Church, 1225 Elton Hills Drive NW Rochester, MN 55901.
- Feel free to wear the color Green as that was her favorite color.
- In Lieu of flowers, donations can be given to the church or to help with end
- of life expenses.
