Claudia Carter

Claudia Jane Carter, age 66, of Red Wing, died Monday, April 21, 2008, at Fairview Red Wing Medical Center. She was born on October 15, 1941, in Farmington, Iowa, to Lewis and Madge (Munford) Carter. She was a graduate of Elkton, Minnesota, High School and attended Austin Junior College. In the early 1990's, she moved to Red Wing, where she worked for ProAct. She enjoyed children and her job.

Survivors include her sister, Rea (Joseph) Wilcox of Rochester; three brothers, Edward Carter of Pennsylvania, William (Michelle) Carter of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Charles Carter of Keosauqua, Iowa; nieces and nephews. Her parents preceded her in death.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel, with Reverend John Royalty officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of services Saturday at the funeral home. Celebration will follow the service at 605 East
Avenue. Burial will be at a later date in LeRoy Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Emma and Jack Lundgren, Josh, Vinnie and Gage Storing, Destynee Stream, Brandon and Cameron Wichser. Memorials are preferred to ProAct.
