Christopher B. ?Chris? Zamenski age 36 of Zumbrota died Thursday morning, January 18, 2007 at his home in Zumbrota after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, January 22, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Christ Lutheran Church with Reverend Wayne D. Schoch and Reverend Erich Westphal officiating. Burial will be in the Zumbrota Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday from 2:00 ? 6:00 P.M.at the Mahn Family Funeral Home ? Larson Chapel in Zumbrota and on Monday one hour prior to the service at the church. Christopher Brian Zamenski was born on April 10, 1970 in Bay City, Michigan to Anthony and Christine (nee Finner) Zamenski. He grew up in Bay City and graduated from Michigan Lutheran Seminary in Saginaw, Michigan in 1988. In 1993 he graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN. On June 5, 1993 he married Alissa Bruss in New Ulm. They made their home in Tomah, WI where he taught at St. Paul?s Lutheran School. From 1994 ? 1998 he taught at the Immanuel Lutheran School in the Winthrop/Gibbon area. In 1998 he became the principal and upper grade teacher at Christ Lutheran School in Zumbrota. Chris was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing. Chris is survived by his wife, Alissa; one daughter, Kayla at home; his parents, Tony and Christine Zamenski of Bay City, MI; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Sue Bruss of Lake Hanska, MN. Casketbearers are Andy Asmus, Dave Gartner, Fred Schliep, Nate Tiarks, Mike Steuber, and Paul Drackley. Honorary Casketbearer is Nathan Bruss.
