Christina J. Brewer

Christina J. Brewer, age 79, of Zumbrota, died on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Zumbrota Health Services. She was born on December 24, 1933, in Addison, Michigan, the daughter of Clarence G. and Minnie (Marks) Ebbert. She graduated from Cement City High School in 1953. Shortly after high school she married Ray Brewer and they later divorced. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, and spending summers with her grandchildren. She was a member of Devil Lake Church in Michigan where she participated in many church events.

Christina is survived by her son Jay (Becky) Brewer of Zumbrota; grandchildren, Daryl (Shawna) Brewer, Maggie (Joe Blakstad) Brewer; great-grandchildren, Blake and Hayden Brewer, Emily Blakstad; brother, Hugh Ebbert of Addison, sister, Wilma (Lynwood) Wheaton of Brooklyn.
Christina was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Merlin, Harry, and Phillip Ebbert; sisters, Leora Wheaton, Nora Campbell-Derbyshire, Helen Green.
