Chris Miller, 64, passed away peacefully at his home in Lake City on Saturday, March 4, 2023.

Chris was born on September 9, 1958 to Edward and Janice (Solum) Miller in Beaver Dam, WI. He grew up in various towns in Wisconsin, as his family moved often with his dad being a superintendent. He graduated in River Falls, WI in 1976. In high school, he worked at his aunt and uncle’s riding stable which he greatly enjoyed, then Fleet Farm, and drove truck. He then moved to Lake City in 1982 and opened Papa Tronnio’s Pizza, which was owned and operated with his wife until they sold the business and retired in 2015. Chris married Jean Schad in 1992 in Wabasha. He liked vehicles; Cadillacs, Mercedes, and his prized possession was Lake City’s old ambulance which was an International Travelall. He also enjoyed sailboats, fast boats, golfing, and feeding and watching birds.

Chris is survived by his wife, Jean Miller; brother, Jeffrey Miller; uncle, Jerry (Debbie) Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel in Lake City. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital or to the Humane Society.
