Charlotte "Cheri" Beeler

Charlotte “Cheri” Mary Beeler, 68, of Red Wing passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at home surrounded by family. Cheri was born October 6, 1955 to Arlo and Marguerite (Pirmantgen) Gray in Breckenridge, Minnesota. Cheri’s most cherished childhood memories are of her time at Camp Grassick. Cheri was united in marriage to James Beeler on November 24, 1973 in Hankinson, North Dakota. Cheri went on to get her bachelors in English and Psychology. Cheri then obtained her masters in alcohol and drug counseling, teachers certificate, and CNA. In her free time, Cheri enjoyed cooking and creating new dishes and she was an avid reader.

Cheri is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Beeler; daughter, Katrina Beeler; sisters, Catherine Gray-Tillack of Burneyville, Oklahoma, Elizabeth (Paul) Tiegs of Hankinson, North Dakota, and Loraine (Mike) Vipond of Oxbow, North Dakota; brothers, James (Laurel) Gray of Warroad, Minnesota, Michael (Cathy) Gray of Westminster, Colorado, Philip (Sherry) Gray of Fargo, North Dakota, Walter Gray of Wasilla, Alaska, and Lawrence (Leslie) Gray of Moorhead, Minnesota.

Cheri was preceded in death by her parents, Arlo and Marguerite; sisters, Colleen Gray and Margaret Hennicker; and her brother, Berton Gray.

The family will be holding services in memory of Cheri in North Dakota at a later date.
