Charles Earl Timmons

Charles Earl "Charlie" Timmons, age 36 of Rochester, died Thursday Dec. 21, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Mary's Campus from complications of a congenital heart defect. Charlie was born Oct. 22, 1981 in South St. Paul, MN and was raised in Rochester. He graduated from Mayo High School and then worked for Go Green Carpet Cleaning. He started working at United Rentals Company in Rochester in August of 2016 as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic and greatly enjoyed working there. Charlie enjoyed spending time with his daughter, visiting with friends, Dirt Bike riding, fishing for Bass, and long drives. He had a passion for music and enjoyed playing the Guitar.

Survivors include his daughter Krystan Arnold of Mason City, IA; his partner Kelsey Cournoyer of Rochester; his parents Earl and Mollie Timmons of Rochester; his sister Sara (Brad) Engebretson of Rochester; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and his brother-in-law D.J. Shimek.

The funeral service will be 7:00 pm Tuesday at Mahn Family Funeral Home - Rochester Chapel with Rev. Maurice E. Hagen officiating. Cremation will take place after the service. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until the service time on Tuesday.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
