ROCHESTER - Chad E. Quandt, 40, of Rochester, went to be with the Lord on Saturday (Nov. 19, 2011) at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
Chad was born on Nov. 6, 1971 in Rochester to Richard and Terry (Hewitt) Quandt. He attended John Marshall High School and went on to Rochester Vocational School. He then started his own computer business, which he ran until becoming afflicted with MS. The love of Chad's life was his daughters. Chad was a very giving and generous person, with much empathy for his friends, and even strangers. Chad's family thanks everyone for your continued support, his Facebook friends for the continued posting of messages, stories, and photos, honoring and celebrating Chad's life. Chad is survived by his parents, Richard and Terry Quandt, daughters, Ashley, Jennifer, and Shaylyn Quandt, his twin brother, Michael Quandt, grandson Dustin, and his former wife, Melissa Lewis, all of Rochester.
A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester with Claire Vomhof officiating. Casketbearers are David Hewitt, Christopher Stucky, Austin and Christian Markee, and Heath Hardin. Friends are invited to join the family for a luncheon at Soldiers Field Best Western, 401 6 St. S.W., Rochester, following the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Chad Quandt Memorial Fund.
