Cella May Sproull, age 91, passed away Saturday August 3, 2024, following bouts with heart issues, cancer and a stroke.
Cella May Smith was born in Silt, Colorado on October 2, 1932, to Earnest and Agnes (Edwards) Smith.
She later moved to Alturas, California, graduating from Modoc High School while enjoying softball, dancing, and cheerleading. She met her husband Harry Sproull and they were married in Oak Creek, Colorado on February 2, 1951. Following losing their home to a flood, they then relocated to New Kensington, Pennsylvania.
Cella enjoyed camping, fishing, sewing and cross-stitching while working as a homemaker.
She is survived by her three children Daniel Sproull (wife-Susan), Lynn Kasprzyk, Ginger Jansen (husband-David); eleven grandchildren, Mary Sproull, Daniel Sproull (wife-Alaina), Peter Sproull (wife-Colleen), Annamarie Sproull, Joseph Sproull, Joshua Kasprzyk, Laura Jensen (husband-Dan), Jacob Kasprzyk(wife-Mandy), Caleb Kasprzyk (wife-Hannah), Jeremiah Jansen (wife-Michelle), Rebecca Butera (husband-David); fourteen great-grandchildren Allison and Ryan Um, Evelyn Sproull, Marc, Rose, and Luc Kasprzyk, Sara, Rachel, and Anna Jensen, Liam Kasprzyk, Mikayla, Natalie, and Izabella Jansen, and Davey Butera.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 9, 2024 at Midwest Bible Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Grandview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Rochester, MN.
