Cathy L. (Klatt) Taylor

Cathy Lynn Taylor, 70, of Red Wing, died Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Mayo Clinic St Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.  She was born June 13, 1951 in Menomonie, WI to Paul and Rose (Beaman) Klatt.  She graduated from Menomonie High School in 1969 and later attended and graduated from Red Wing Technical College for accounting.  On June 15, 1974 she married Richard Taylor at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Menomonie.  They lived in Bay City until 1997 when they moved to Red Wing.  She worked at First State Bank for many years until her retirement two years ago.  She enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, putting puzzles together, and camping near Siren, WI at Clam Falls Campground.

She is survived by her husband Richard; one daughter, Sharon Taylor of Red Wing; one sister, Irene Klatt-Downey of Bradenton, FL along with  other relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Rose and her grandparents.

Mass of Resurrection will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2022, at the Church of St. Joseph.  Burial will take place in Cedar Falls Cemetery in Cedar Falls, WI.  Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and one hour prior to the service at church on Friday.  Online condolences can be left for the family at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
