Catherine Kellogg, age 85, of Rochester, died Monday (Dec. 15, 2014) at Mayo Clinic Hospital - St. Mary's Campus.
Catherine Ellen Schneider was born Feb. 9, 1929 in Chicago, IL to Edward and Edna (Kelly) Schneider.
Catherine worked as an Executive Secretary at Universal Oil Products (UOP) in Des Plaines, IL. After retiring, she enjoyed dining out, shopping, hitting the slots at the area casinos and playing cards with her friends.
Survivors include two daughters: Debra Kellogg Lozano of Charlotte, NC and Mary Ann (Mike) Jacobs of Jordan, MN; two grandsons: Ryan Jacobs of Madison, WI and Marc Sanchez of Charlotte, NC; her granddaughter, Alexis Sanchez of Charlotte, NC; two sisters: Rita McDermott of Palos Hills, IL and Maryann Betz of Lombard, IL. Her brother Edward "Bud" Schneider preceded her in death
The memorial service will be 11:30 AM on December 19th at Mahn Family Funeral Home - Rochester Chapel. Friends may arrive one hour before the service. A reception will be held following the service.
