Casey Daniel Snyder

Casey Daniel Snyder, age 38, of Plainview, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester after being hospitalized since January 2013. He was born on July 17, 1974, in Marshall, the son of Dan and Teri (Haglund) Snyder. Casey was baptized into the Christian Faith at Christ Lutheran Church in Cottonwood, and confirmed his faith at Federated Church in Fergus Falls. He graduated from Redwood Valley High School in Redwood Falls. On December 30, 2000, he was united in marriage to Rebecca "Becca" Lohmann at United Methodist Church in Pine Island. Casey enjoyed being at Leech Lake, fishing, hunting, and watching sports. He was known for his keen sense of humor and smile. One of his favorite roles was being a father. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and was loved by all.

Casey is survived by his loving wife, Becca; son, Zachary Snyder; daughter, Isabelle "Belle" Snyder all of Plainview; father, Dan (Marie Schoer) of Remer; brother, Shawn (Abby) Snyder of Apple Valley; maternal grandfather, Lyle Haglund of Moorhead; paternal grandmother, Joyce Snyder of Alexandria; and several extended family members.

Casey was preceded in death by his mother, Teri Snyder; maternal grandmother, Edith Haglund; paternal grandfather, Bruce Snyder; uncle, Wayne Haglund; and aunt, Rose Haglund.

Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at United Methodist Church in Pine Island with Pastor Carolyn Westlake officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2013 at Mahn Family Funeral Home - Mahler Chapel in Pine Island and for one hour prior to the service at the church. www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com
