Carole J. Storing age 71 of Lake City died Sunday, October 28, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
Carole was born August 6, 1936 in Rochester, MN to Carl & Alta (Cray) Kukuzke. Carole married Chuck Storing in Stewartville in 1956. They moved to Lake City in 1966. Carol worked as a bartender in Lake City for many years. Carole was a happy go lucky lady, she enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling, crocheting, knitting and spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her love for bartending for all the nice people she would meet and attend to for years. She also served as a Boy Scout Leader in Stewartville, and she was an officer in the Lake City Mrs. Jaycees.
Carole is survived by three sons, Bob (Vicky) of Goodhue, Scott (Lynn) of Red Wing, Jim (Sherry) of Red Wing; four daughters Pam (Dan) Wagner of Millville, Linda (Randy) Wilson of Lake City, Vicki (Gary) Schmidt of Lake City, Barbie (Jerry) Hinrichs of Lake City; 17 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; two brothers Stan (Char) Kukuzke of Albert Lea, Jim (Mar) Kukuzke of Northville, MI; one sister Barb Denny of Lansford, North Dakota. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Pat Kukuzke.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 11:00am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lake City with Father James Russell officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel lake City. Friends may also call one hour before the service at the church.
