Carol Eyvone Campbell died at home at the age of 77 on Sunday, November 15, 2020 with her family surrounding her.
Born to Roger and Eva Griffin on March 1, 1943 in Stewartville MN.
She worked as a beautician at the Kahler Hotel Beauty Salon before she met and married
Gene Campbell on February 20, 1965. Together they had two children and ran a business in Rochester.
Carol loved thrift shopping and had a flair for finding quality period jewelry which she effortlessly incorporated into her wardrobe with great style. She enjoyed running into fellow thrifter Charlie at the Salvation Army Store.
Carol loved gardening and created beautiful perennial gardens incorporating thrifted objects to create relaxing spaces to welcome all. She taught her children the beauty of plants.
In retirement, Carol enjoyed trail riding, playing pickleball, golfing, and happy hour with her Canadian friends in Texas.
She is proceeded in death by her father, Roger and mother, Eva (Halvorson).
She was dedicated to her family and will be dearly missed by all. She is survived by her husband, Gene of Rochester; son, Justin of Manhattan MT; daughter, Erin of Rochester; and sister, Virginia of Harlingen, TX.
The family asks Memorials to be made to the charity of their choice.
Due to the increasing concers regarding covid-19 the visitation for Carol will be canceled.
The family will hold a private burial in the Spring.
