*SERVICE INFORMATION UPDATE*
Brewton Curry Jablonske, 30, of Red Wing, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020. He was born Sept. 24, 1989 to Ms. Blake Jablonske and Stanley Curry and attended Belle Plaine High School, class of 2008, where he lettered in football. He went on to play football semi-professionally as a defensive and offensive lineman for both the MN Sting and the St. Paul Pioneers—his current team. Brewton had a variety of occupations, including 3M, T-Mobile, House Ford Chrysler and REM, where he was program coordinator because he loved helping people.
Brewton loved being outdoors, which is fitting because a small space couldn’t contain his bright energy. He was a force of nature that could light up a room and he brought the party with him where ever he went. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but his favorite part of those activities was spinning the tale afterwards. He loved being a father and finding ways to get into trouble with his grandfather, who he was particularly close with and helped to care for. His work-hard-play-hard-attitude meant he made friends easily and he will be missed by anyone who had the fortune of knowing him. His friendships will be his legacy and his parting advice is “Collect memories. Not things.”
He is survived by his 3 children; Taylyn (9), Pheyton (7) and Elijah (5); parents, Blake (Ronald) Olson of Apple Valley and Stanley (Kim) Curry of Hager City; siblings, Jessika (Patrick) Goerisch, Luke Friedl, Faythe Friedl and Hope Shegonee; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
A Celebration of Brewton's life will be held Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Big Dog Daddy Roadhouse in Bay City from 12p.m. - 4 p.m. A joint Celebration of Life for Brewton and his grandfather Dennis, who passed away 10 days after Brewton, will be held at the Leo C. Peterson American Legion, Post 54 on Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
