OBITUARY: BRENT L. FINSTUEN Memorial service for Brent L. Finstuen will be at 2PM on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at Mahn Family Funeral Home ? Mahler Chapel in Pine Island with Rev. Paul D. Reppe officiating. Honorary casketbearers will be Paul, Tom, Brandon and Broc Finstuen, Chris Swanson, Terry, Jim and Louis Peterson. Burial will follow at Stordahl Lutheran Church Cemetery, Roscoe Township, Goodhue County, MN. Memorials may be given to the Stordahl Lutheran Church. Brent Lorrie Finstuen, age 40, died on December 8, 2006 at his residence in Minneapolis of natural causes. He was born on October 11, 1966 in Zumbrota, MN to Lorrie and Mary (Peterson) Finstuen. He graduated from Pine Island High School and went to Austin, TX where he worked for a medical company as an insurance claims adjuster. He returned to MN and worked for Allina and later Hennepin County Medical Center as a principal office specialist. Brent was a good hearted, happy person who loved animals, gardening, traveling and visiting with family and friends. Brent is survived by his mother, Mary Ehlenfeldt, his father and step-mother, Lorrie (Jean) Finstuen, all of Pine Island, MN; two brothers: James (Danniell) Finstuen, of Pine Island, MN and Tom Finstuen, of Rochester, MN; one sister, Dawn (Richard) Anderson, of Cannon Falls, MN; four nephews; one niece; aunts; uncles; cousins. He was preceded in death by his lifelong partner, Greg Ofstie; his grandparents: Norman and Myrtle Peterson and Palmer and Della Finstuen. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.
