Brenda Owen-Milano, 72, of Prairie Island, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at Summit Place in Eden Prairie. She was born on February 14, 1948 in Red Wing to Amos and Ione (James) Owen. She graduated from Red Wing High School in 1966 and enlisted in the United States Navy serving from 1966 until 1968. They lived in Edina and Minnetonka, where they owned and operated DDI from 1988 until 2002. Robert died in December of 2000. Brenda had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening, along with golfing and travelling. She was fond of Las Vegas and the family trips they took to Florida and Arizona. It was one of Brenda’s last wishes to go back to Hawaii, but unfortunately due to health issues and the pandemic, she was not able to go.
