Bonnie Marie Lindstrom, 90, of Red Wing, died Saturday, May 28, 2011 at the Fairview Seminary Home. She was born Feb. 25, 1921, in Pierce County, Wisconsin, to Claude and Anna (Dahl) Nelson. Growing up, she attended various schools in Pierce County. She married John Lindstrom on Oct. 26, 1940 in Decorah, Iowa. For a 20 years, she was employed at the Red Wing Shoe Company. Bonnie was a member of the Church of St. Joseph, the Birthday Club and the Red Men Club. She enjoyed bowling and for many years had been on a bowling league. She also enjoyed reading, watching Western movies, and she was a bird lover. Her family will always remember her thoughtfulness, as she always sent out Hallmark greeting cards to everyone on their birthdays and special occasions. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by five children, John "Jack" (Kathy) Lindstrom of Diamond Bluff, Dale (Judy) Lindstrom of Woodbury, Michael (JoAnne "Josie") Lindstrom of Diamond Bluff, Janet (Dallas) Dosdall of Diamond Bluff and Peggy (John) Schommer of Prescott; 18 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John on April 6, 1991; twin sister, Bonita Nelson and sisters, Betty Truttmann & Margie Hanson; one brother, Bernard Nelson and one great-granddaughter.

Mass of Resurrection will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011, at the Church of St. Joseph, with Father Thomas M. Kommers presiding. Burial will be at Diamond Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church.
