Bobbie Louise Sanders, 63, passed away Sunday April 3 at the Lake City Medical Center. She was born March 6, 1948 in Red Wing, MN to Robert and Ardelle (Seeley) Wurst. She graduated from Lake City High School and attended one year of college. She was married to Harold Arendt on April 26, 1969 and later divorced. She married Roger Sanders and later divorced. She worked as an administrative assistant at State Farm. She lived in Lake City her whole life except for eight years she spent in Ft. Meyers, FL. She moved back to Lake City March 2009. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed softball, bowling, darts, shooting pool, and drag racing.
Bobbie is survived by her sons Dean Arendt of Rochester, MN and Jeff Arendt of Orlando, FL, her brothers, James (Linda) Wurst of Frontenac, Gene (Jane) Wurst of Orlando, FL and Daniel (Helen) Wurst of Frontenac, and sister, Teresa (David) Haeuszer of Champions Gate, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The Memorial Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 7 at Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel in Lake City with Reverend Michael Schulenberg officiating. Burial will be at the Grandview Cemetery in Rochester. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 6 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel in Lake City and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
