Bob A. Albrecht, 82, of Lake City passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, May 07, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN. He was born on September 30, 1934 to Harry and Mary (Beckman) Albrecht in Coleridge, NE.
Bob grew up in the Lake City area, living in both Lake City and Red Wing. He worked at the S.B. Foot Tannery for 27 years. After retiring Bob lived in Lake City. He enjoyed playing cards, watching football, and feeding his birds. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Bob is survived by two daughters, Mary Jo (Daniel) Bushinger of Red Wing and Gena Halverson of Red Wing; two sons, Bobby Albrecht Jr. of Indiana and Billy Albrecht of Preston, MN; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters Diane (Jerry) Krusmark of Lake City, Elaine (Bob) Marnell of Lake City; a brother Casey (Shirley) Albrecht of Preston, MN He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Albrecht; one son, John Raley; sister, Karen Demarais; brother, Gil Albrecht; and his parents.
Memorial service will be Friday, May 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City with Reverend Tim Ehling officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
