Beverly Ann Gleason

ROCHESTER - Beverly Ann Gleason, age 79, of Rochester, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, at her home.
Beverly Ann Aaby was born Jan. 24, 1936 in Rochester to Helmer and Bessie (Birch) Aaby. She had a twin sister, Barbara (Johnson). Beverly graduated from Byron High School. She married Carroll L. Gleason on July 23, 1960, and they had three children. She worked for the Rochester Public School System, and later had her own business cleaning private homes. Beverly was a lifetime member of Bethel Lutheran Church.
She loved spending time with her family and reminiscing with old photographs. She enjoyed sharing stories of growing up on the farm in Salem Corners with her twin sister; especially stories of their pony and the orchard. Beverly also enjoyed animals, owning horses and many pets over the years. Her hobbies included painting, quilting, gardening, baking, and playing cards.
Survivors include her daughter, Tamara (Daniel Peterson) Gleason of Rochester; two sons, Kevin of Michigan; and Keith (Angela) of Rochester; ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her twin sister, and her parents.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday Oct. 12, 2015 at Bethel Lutheran Church with Pastor Jason Burggraff officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service at the church, and a reception will be held following the service. Memorials for Beverly can be made to Rochester Camp Companion for animals.
